New NEX Firmware to enable 3D Pictures using Panorama function

From July, Sony is planning a new firmware version for their NEX5/NEX3 models which enable these models to create 3D images while only using a single lens. This will be made possible using Sony’s Sweep Panorama function and the extremely fast Sony Exmor CMOS sensors simulating a “two-eye-effect” while sweeping as illustrated.
Mac OS X 10.6.4 now supports Alpha RAW
Mac OS X 10.6.4 is now supporting the RAW-Formats of thefollowing cameras
- Canon: EOS Rebel T2i, EOS 550D, EOS Kiss X4, PowerShot S90, sRAW, mRAW.
- Hasselblad: H3DII-50.
- Leica: D-LUX 4, M9, S2, X1.
- Olympus: E-450, E-600, E-620, E-P1, E-P2.
- Panasonic: Lumix DMC-G1, Lumix DMC-GF1, Lumix DMC-GH1, Lumix DMC-LX3.
- Pentax: K-7, K-x.
